Rent To Own is a means of accessing a wide range of home appliances, electronics, and furniture on a month-to-month agreement. During the agreed period, the customer can cancel and return the product, thus terminating the monthly payments. The customer can take ownership of the product at the end of the predetermined term.

Our simple month-to-month Rent To Own model lets you access what you need with the flexibility to upgrade, return, or eventually own – all on your terms.

  • Browse the FlexiOwn website and your device/product to the cart.
  • Select your preferred FlexiOwn Rental term.
  • Get registered on the website.
  • Tell us about yourself and get verified.
  • Accept your FlexiOwn contract and enter your credit card details.
  • Sit back, relax, and wait for delivery.
  • Financial flexibility: FlexiOwn allows you, the customer, to upgrade/downgrade or cancel and return the product at any time.
  • Convenience: You can shop and apply online, and we will deliver the product/device to your home at no additional cost to you.
  • Peace of mind: We have got you covered for risk and repairs during the rental period, again at no additional cost to you.

We do not offer products to be purchased for cash. We offer month-to-month contracts with the option of ownership after a predetermined period, which is either 12 or 24 months.

We do not have physical stores; however, all applications can be done on our website. We have made it easy for you to shop and apply.

We offer month-to-month rental contracts for 12 or 24 months

All billing is processed in advance. For example, if your payment date is the 15th of each month, you’re paying for the service from the 15th of the current month to the 14th of the following month.

Your payment date aligns with the day you made your initial payment. For example, if you checked out and paid on the 20th, your debit order will be deducted on the 20th of each month going forward. Payments are made in advance. You can change your payment date anytime via the Self-Service Portal: https://portal.teljoy.co.za/login

No, not in the same month. If your debit order is unsuccessful, a second debit attempt will be made after 7 days. During this time, your phone will remain blocked until the payment reflects. Once payments are clear, your normal debits will continue in the following months.

– Pay Now (Credit Card)
– Pay@ (retrieve your Pay@ number to pay at a retailer or via payat.co.za)

Pay@ Retailers include: Boxer, Builders, Cambridge, Checkers, Flash (Top Up Your Life), Game, Kazang Connect, Makro, Pep, Pick n Pay, Rhino, Shoprite, Spar, Top It Up, and USave.

Currently, only South African-issued credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. More payment options may be added soon.

Not at this time — only credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted for debit orders.

All agreements are month-to-month, with an option to own after the agreed period. Refer to your contract’s Terms & Conditions for more details.

Your service will remain blocked until payment is made. Please make payment as soon as possible to restore normal functionality.
